The Baltimore Orioles lead the way with seven picks in the first three rounds (14 total) and own an MLB record $19,144,500 in bonus pool money, giving them an opportunity that the franchise may never have again.
Meanwhile, the Washington Nationals will be selecting with the first overall pick for the third time in their franchise's history. Their previous selections at the top spot? Eight-time All-Star Bryce Harper (2010) and former World Series MVP starting pitcher Stephen Strasburg (2009).

Willits is the youngest player (17 years, 7 months) ever taken with the No. 1 overall pick in MLB history.
2. Los Angeles Angels - Tyler Bremner (P, UC Santa Barbara)
Bremner becomes the third pitcher that the Angels have drafted in the first round over the past decade.
3. Seattle Mariners - Kade Anderson (P, LSU)
Anderson joins Pittsburgh Pirates ace Paul Skenes as the only two LSU pitchers to be taken in the top five over the last decade, and the third of the past 20 years, with Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Kevin Gausman (2012) being the first.
4. Colorado Rockies - Ethan Holliday (3B/SS, Stillwater High School)
Holliday, who was initially rated as the best prospect in the draft, falls into the Rockies' lap and now joins the organization that his dad, Matt Holliday, played for the first six years of his MLB career.
5. St. Louis Cardinals - Liam Doyle (P, Tennessee)
Doyle was named the Southeastern Conference Pitcher of the Year this past season after putting up an incredible 15.4 strikeouts per nine innings rate.
