Williams has already agreed to the Cowboys' terms on a three-year, $24 million contract, the team confirmed on their social media channels on Saturday.
The 25-year-old was initially on a one-year, $3 million deal last offseason with Dallas after playing with the Denver Broncos for the first four seasons of his NFL career.
Williams had a stellar 2025 season, rushing for 1,201 yards and a career-high 11 touchdowns in 16 games. In the two seasons before that, he had 1,287 rushing yards along with seven rushing touchdowns.
His performances made the Cowboys finish ninth in the league in rushing offense, with Williams' 125.6 yards per game and 4.6 yards per carry.
From his 70 games in the league, 45 of which were starts, Williams has 3,595 yards on the ground with 22 touchdowns, as well as 1,103 recieving yards and seven receiving scores.
