The Danes, who have lost just one match since the end of March is now set to face the French pair Thom Gicquel and Delphine Delrue, who are seeded fourth in the tournament, in Saturday's semi-final. The Danes are seeded fifth.
Christiansen and Bøje lost to Gicquel and Delrue in France on 22 March. Since then, the Danes have only lost one match, which was in the semi-finals of the Malaysia Masters at the end of May.
Along the way, the in-form Danes have won two tournaments. Most recently in the Singapore Open.
The Danes arrived with plenty of confidence for the Super 1000 tournament in Jakarta, and their belief in themselves was also evident in Friday's quarter-final, where the Danish pair got off to an excellent start against the second-seeded Thais and quickly took an 8-2 lead.
Christiansen and Boje managed to impose their game on the skilled Thai pair, and it paid off as they secured the set on their second set point.
In the second set, the roles were reversed, and it was the Thais who dictated the match in a somewhat messy affair without much pace. Most duels were decided quickly as both pairs made plenty of unforced errors.
Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Supissara Paewsampran easily won the second set 21-14; however, in the third set, the Danes recovered the energy from the first set and had a promising start to the set.
Mathias Christiansen was again successful with his aggressive actions, and the Thai pair had a hard time dealing with his attacking game. Halfway through the third set, the Danes led by 11-4.
During that spell, Dechapol Puavaranukroh, in particular, was very unhappy with the referee as the Thai frustrations nearly boiled over.
But the Danes kept their cool and established a lead of 20-12 before Puavaranukroh and Paewsampran won six successive points to bring excitement back into the match before the Danes finally won the game, converting their seventh matchpoint.
