22:30 CET - Atleti have 20 minutes left to find a goal and keep their hopes of making the final alive, and in his quest to force on, Diego Simeone has been bold with his substitutions, with Ademola Lookman, Antoine Griezmann and Julian Alvarez all being taken off.
22:10 CET - The second half is underway, and Atleti so nearly made the perfect start to it! Giuliano Simeone pounced on a poor backwards header and rounded David Raya, but couldn't get the ball under control before Gabriel slid in and put it out for a corner.
Simeone felt that the Brazilian pulled him back, but VAR ruled that there was no foul.
21:47 CET - One shot on target, and one goal! Arsenal have the lead at the Emirates thanks to Bukayo Saka, who has poked home after reacting first to a Jan Oblak parry right on the stroke of half-time.
After a pretty flat period of play, the game really needed that, and the Gunners will be pumped to go into the break with a 1-0 lead (2-1 in the tie).
Interestingly, Arsenal have a record of W10, D1, L0 when scoring the opening goal in this Champions League season, while Atletico, for their part, have lost four from six when conceding first.

19:50 CET - The lineups are in for tonight's semi-final second leg between Arsenal and Atletico Madrid, and there aren't too many surprises, but Myles Lewis-Skelly does start in midfield after impressing over the weekend in an eye-catching decision by Mikel Arteta.
Eberechi Eze also starts for Arsenal, with usual captain Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz only fit enough for the bench.
For the visitors, Julian Alvarez and Antoine Griezmann are leading the line once again, with Marcos Llorente in the middle of the park this time out.
19:23 CET - As for Atletico, who fielded a heavily-rotated side in Saturday's 2-0 triumph at Valencia, they're bidding to reach a first Champions League final since 2016.
The Rojiblancos' domestic form might have dipped in recent months, but they remain a formidable force in Europe, having seen off LaLiga rivals Barcelona in the last eight.
Furthermore, Diego Simeone's side have progressed from six of their last seven European semi-finals, with the most recent of those coming against Arsenal in the 2017/18 Europa League.

18:32 CET - Having seen Premier League title rivals Man City drop costly points at Everton on Monday, Arsenal will be more determined than ever to make May 2026 a truly historic month in the club's history.
The Gunners last reached the Champions League final in 2006, but two decades of hurt in the competition could well be forgotten this evening at the Emirates, where Arsenal have lost just one of their last 24 European matches (W17, D6).
Mikel Arteta's men remain unbeaten in this season's competition (W10, D3), and with Bukayo Saka and Viktor Gyokeres looking in fine form during Saturday's 3-0 dismantling of Fulham, the omens are certainly looking bright for the North London side.
