Florentino Perez, the current president of Real Madrid and a candidate in the Spanish club's elections, has confirmed that Jose Mourinho will be the new manager if he wins the vote scheduled for June 7th.

In a video published on his campaign page, the president sent a clear message about the future of Real Madrid

"While on television they talk, talk, and talk..." can be read in the video posted by Florentino Perez.

After these words, Mourinho appears, dressed in Real Madrid attire, saying "yes".

Despite this news, Benfica has not yet confirmed the departure of the Special One nor his successor, who is reportedly set to be Marco Silva.

The move follows a disappointing domestic campaign in which Barcelona secured back-to-back league titles.

Real, 15-time Champions League winners, have ‌also exited Europe's top club competition at the ‌quarter-final stage in the last two seasons, with the absence of major silverware prompting Perez to call elections.
