In exchange, the Blues received a 2026 first-round draft pick, a 2026 third-round draft pick, defenseman Justin Holl, and left wing Dmitri Buchelnikov.
Faulk, 33, has 11 goals and 21 assists through 61 games this season. He spent the first eight years of his career with the Carolina Hurricanes, then the following seven with the Blues. The 15-year veteran still has one year left on his current contract and is set to earn $6.5 million next season.
Holl, 34, has two goals and 12 assists through 41 games down in the AHL. He hasn't played a single game in the NHL this season. The vet has never posted more than three goals or 20 assists in a single NHL season (eight total).
Buchelnikov, 22, has 13 goals and 10 assists through 38 games in the KHL this season.
