Daniel Mudau and Peter Shalulile, who still plays at Chloorkop, have each reached double figures in four consecutive seasons, which is a record since the start of the Premier Soccer League in the 1996/97 campaign.
Mudau, who is also the all-time leading scorer for Sundowns with 172 goals in 388 starts in all competitions, reached double figures in four successive seasons between 1998 and 2002.
Shalulile did likewise between 2019 and 2023, though the first of those came in the colours of Highlands Park.
Rayners scored 15 goals in 28 league starts for Stellenbosch FC in the 2023/24 season, which saw Sundowns trigger his buyout clause.
He netted 14 goals in 23 starts for The Brazilians in 2024/25 and now has 10 goals in 11 starts in an injury-hit 2025/26 campaign.
Rayners is not the only striker to achieve the feat three years in a row, with Katlego Mphela, also of Sundowns, doing so between 2009 and 2012, while Phumlani Mkhize did likewise for African Wanderers and Orlando Pirates from 1997 to 2000.
