Manchester United will be pushing hard for Nuno Mendes, according to Sky Sports on Monday. Spotted by the Red Devils and their new coach Ruben Amorim, the former Sporting Lisbon man is said to be the English club's priority for next summer.
As a reminder, RMC Sport reported a few days ago that negotiations for the left-back's contract extension at PSG were at a standstill, with a year and a half to go before his contract expires in June 2026.

According to the same source, the Portuguese left-back would like to leave the capital club next summer, with Manchester United's interest an intriguing proposition.
Mendes and Amorim know each other well, the latter having coached the Portuguese defender when he was just a young player at Sporting. Shortly after Marcos Acuna's departure for Spain and Seville, Mendes became Sporting's first-choice left-back at the age of just 18.
