Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, 41, will once again be available for Jorge Jesus at Al Nassr after missing the recent matches against Al Riyadh and Al Ittihad.

According to NOW, Cristiano Ronaldo and the Al Nassr management held high-level talks with the PIF, the Saudi sovereign wealth fund that has been investing in the top clubs of the league.

During this meeting, according to the same source, the PIF settled all outstanding salaries at Al Nassr and transferred the necessary funds to cover the club’s expenses until the end of the season.

Jose Semedo’s authority at the club was also reinstated, meaning the main issues that led Cristiano Ronaldo to refuse to play for Al Nassr have been resolved, except for concerns about winter transfer investments, particularly those made by Al Hilal, the current leader of the Saudi league.

With this, Cristiano Ronaldo is back in contention for Jorge Jesus and is expected to start against Al Fateh on Saturday in the 22nd round of the league.

Al Nassr’s next fixture is against Arkadag from Turkmenistan in the Round of 16 of the AFC Champions League 2, on Thursday. However, as in previous matches in this competition, the Portuguese captain will be physically protected.
