FC Copenhagen, Borussia Dortmund and Diant Ramaj have agreed on a loan deal for the 2026/2027 season. The agreement also includes an option to buy the German goalkeeper.

Ramaj played for FC Copenhagen in the spring half of the 2024/25 season, where he kept 10 clean sheets in 19 matches and played a crucial role in FC Copenhagen winning the league and cup double. Now FC Copenhagen have decided to bring back Ramaj in the wake of the injury that Dominik Kotarski has sustained.

FC Copenhagen's Director of Football, Kristjaan Speakman, is delighted with the deal, which strengthens the squad’s goalkeeper position.

"We know Diant very well and are delighted to welcome him back to Copenhagen,” says Speakman.

"He is a very driven guy, team-focused with a strong performance mindset which is important for our group. On the pitch, he has some outstanding attributes for his position, and he returns with more varied experience, which means he can have an even greater impact for us this season.”

For Ramaj, it is a joyful reunion with the club and the city, which he left a little over a year ago to return to Germany. Now he is looking forward to playing for the Lions again.

"I am really happy that the agreement is in place, and I look forward to joining the lads again,” he says. "I have already had a fantastic time here, and I am eager to build on that. It feels completely right to be at F.C. Copenhagen, and I have really missed the special atmosphere around matchdays in Parken."

"The club and the mentality suit me perfectly, because I step onto the pitch to win every single time, and that's what drives me.

"My previous spell in Copenhagen was very positive, but that's in the past now. Now it's about delivering every single day on the training pitch and helping the team toward new victories."
