Promoted from League C in the 2024/25 edition under Jon Dahl Tomasson, it remains to be seen if Graham Potter will be the man to lead Sweden into their six League B Group 4 matches, which will be played from September-November 2026.
Blagult will also be hoping to come into these matches after a successful performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, qualification for which is still two Playoff matches away, to be played next month.
With or without a World Cup behind them, Sweden will be aiming for a fresh start, and two home matches to begin with in September - against Romania and Poland, respectively - can provide good building blocks for the Swedes.
October sees trips to Bosnia & Herzegovina and Romania, before they welcome the Bosnians in November, ahead of a trip to Poland to round off the group.
The September and October international windows have essentially been put together into one block of fixtures, meaning Sweden will play four times in the space of 11 days.
