When Denmark face Slovakia and the U.S. in the Billie Jean Cup in April, it will be with out the participation of Caroline Wozniacki.
The Danish former Grand Slam winner and World No 1 confirms to bt.dk that she will not make herself available for the Danish Billie Jean Cup team.
Caroline Wozniacki is not available for the national team on this occasion, reveals Jens Anker Andersen, sports directorat the Danish Tennis Association.
"I have been in contact with Caroline, and she won't be participating this time. She is not in top form."
"It's fair enough, because she hasn't played since September. We only talked about Billie Jean Cup", says Jens Anker Andersen.
Wozniacki hasn't been in action since she lost to world No. 21 Beatriz Haddad Maia in the US.Open last year. 6-2, 3-6, 6-3.
Wozniacki is currently No 86 in the world.
