Linda Noskova vs Karolina Muchova

Grand Slam winners Krejcikova and Vondrousova are already in the fourth round in New York, but currently the two best Czech players according to the world rankings are Karolína Muchova and Linda Noskova.
This third-round clash will also be the first-ever match between the Olympic doubles pair. Muchova has reached the semi-finals at the last two editions of the US Open. But this year she has had two very tough three-set matches.
Noskova, on the other hand, advanced to the third round after her opponent, Eva Lys, retired, so she will be more rested and will surely rely on her aggressive tennis.
Alexander Zverev vs Felix Auger-Aliassime

After a year full of setbacks, Zverev is no longer so much in the sights of experts and fans, who are forever telling him that he has won everything in his career except for a Grand Slam title. This may help the German a little.
With no pressure, he is close to making the second week, and now Felix Auger-Aliassime awaits, against whom he has a very positive record. Out of 11 matches between them, Zverev has won eight. A warning, however, is the fact that two of his three wins have come on concrete hard courts.
Auger-Aliassime's run to the third round of the New York Grand Slam is certainly pleasing, as he has not reached the second round at the Grand Slams this year and although he played the semi-finals at the US Open 2021, he has won only one match in his last three appearances.
Alexander Bublik vs Tommy Paul

After a bad Friday for American tennis, with Tiafoe, Shelton and Navarro all out of the tournament, another tough test for a home favourite awaits. Tommy Paul, who has already survived a five-set battle with Nuno Borges, has a difficult task against the devious showman Alexander Bublik.
He arrived in New York without a single match of preparation, but he excelled in the opening two rounds. He played a total of six sets with former champion Marin Cilic and Tristan Schoolkate, never losing more than four games, scoring a remarkable 84 winners and not losing a single serve.
While the last four matches between them have belonged to Paul, the ease and comfort with which Bublik has played in recent months gives the Kazakh hope that he can end the unpleasant streak and match his best run at the US Open. The furthest he's gone was in the third round in 2019.
