With news coming in yesterday that Manuel Ugarte has suffered a serious knee ligament injury at the World Cup, it seems Manchester United's transfer plans have been somewhat thrown into disarray.
As Dean reports, United wanted to sell Ugarte in order to free up space in their roster and salary budget. With him now facing a long recovery, they will struggle to sell him, yet very much need to replace him.
